Featuring my latest build: Realistic Modern Mansion, for 1.17.1 and 1.18+ Minecraft (Java).

This is my concept for an originally designed, contemporary mansion, that was created with the aim of providing a luxurous and refined sense of space that can be truly called home, with a particular emphasis on shape, finer attention to detail, and stylish lighting. I wanted to achieve this by essentially just going all out on both the interior and exterior, taking on board all of my builds from before, and trying things that I haven't quite done before. This has hence served as a really fun and rewarding project with this particular scope in mind.

The chosen resource pack used for this build was Faithful, alongside Better Leaves V2.6 and BSL Shaders V8.

The mansion features a wide array of fully decorated contemporary and spacious rooms, including:

Living/family area
Kitchen and Diner (plus small secondary kitchen and drink storage room)
Home office/study
Communal upstairs bathroom
4 bedrooms (including master and 2 below-ground guest bedrooms)
Semi-outdoor entertainment space
Semi-outdoor bar, lounge and jakuzi area
Home cinema
Small workout room

The mansion also includes a wide and scenic backdoor area which accommodates large pool, multiple sitting areas, private tennis court and BBQ.

Download instructions (important):

1. On Windows, use keys Windows+R and then typing “%appdata%/.minecraft/saves/” into the command line. (On a Mac, your save files are in: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/). This will open the saves folder
   
2. Unzip/unrar your downloaded zipped file, then drag the unzipped world save into your Minecraft saves folder.
   
3. Close windows and reopen Minecraft.
   
4. Select your map and play.

I sincerely hope that you will get to enjoy this build and the overall world (plus the video showcase as a treat). As is the case with all my builds, I try to invest as much effort and thought into my works as possible, and this one is no different. There is always room for improvement, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.
