No, you're not too old. Minecraft is a timeless game. The game is completely what you make of it. I play it a lot for building stuff to supplement my interest in architecture.
Don't be discouraged by the influx of younger players. It was the older players that made the game popular in the first place. It's only going to continue to be considered a children's game if people keep giving into these silly stigmas.
