You tried restarting your client (your game)? I have ridiculous issue with servers sometimes and normally restarting my client will fix it.

Could be the server though, in which case you might just have to wait for someone on their end to fix it / for the server to sort itself out.

Serious answer this time - my favourites are probably tied between "Tales from the Borderlands", "InFamous Second Son", "Jak 3" or "Prototype".

TftBl: Great story, amazing characters, top notch humour. One of the only Telltale games I replayed several times over.

InFamous SS: Great characters, great open world, decent story. I just like open world super power games ok?

Jak 3: One of the first games I ever owned; never got to finish it because the disc got scratched,,,,, oh god i wanna play it so badly.

Prototype: Meh story, ok characters, ridiculously fun open world gameplay. First proper open world game I played with powers and I loved that game SO much.

Not gonna lie I probably have 300+ hours in minecraft, 200+ in Fallout 4, bordering on 500+ in Skyrim, with 600+ in Overwatch too (I've bought Overwatch 4 times now - haha I have no life), but those 3 will probably always be my favourites.

Depends what kind of games you like!
    My personal favourites for that price range would be;
    ~ Skyrim
    ~ Mark of the Ninja
    ~ Dishonored
~ Fallout New Vegas (haven't played this but it's supposed to be bloody brilliant)
~ Portal 2 (gotta play the co-op with a friend to see who you can really trust)
    ~ Saints Row IV
~ Valley (this was pretty short, but I found it fun. wouldn't say it's worth the full price so maybe wait til it's on sale or something)
Fyi, these ones are rated 18+ for a reason.
    ~ Prototype
    ~ Prototype 2
**Don't pay full price for either of the Prototype games. They're great fun (probably my favourite game series) but whenever there's a sale on they normally go down to about £5 each**
    ~ The Darkness 2

    Edit:
Just realised you said USD. Not sure what the currency conversions end up as so some of these might be >$20, my bad.

The only one I've ever watched on there is Pewds.
I only really watch 2 youtubers at the moment, and neither are Minecraft related in the slightest.

    Ahah, good old BT
We've had connection problems since Christmas (ie, the internet will cut out up to 30 times a day) and they still haven't fixed it.
"Oh yes, it will be fixed by March 7th!"
"We've booked some engineers for April 18th!"
"You have a problem at your exchange, it will be fixed within 2 weeks!"
My Mum works from home, and now she has to spend £30 extra per month just for reliable internet from Tooway.
    It's ridiculous.
UK's most reliable broadband my ****.

Under 15's don't tend to have exams, at least not here anyway (you're generally 16 when you do your N5's).

    1. It's a Meme not a poster.

By "Original Poster" (or OP), they mean the person who originally posted the thread, not the physical image

But yeah, the Desert Detour Contest was also on when I had Prelims XD
I still made an attempt at it (and failed miserably), but the thing is there will be more on during the Summer, etc that I know I'll be able to participate in :3
For me it's more of a "suck it up, there'll be others on at a later date that I'll have a chance at"

It's deemed as a kids game; therefore it is deemed "immature" to talk about it if you're not a child.
I mean yeah, it's not like other games. The creativity within it and it's community is endless, but the fact is that when people have to put up with "OMG I FOUND DIAMonDS AGEN!!1!" all the time from their children, siblings, etc, it becomes a very, very irritating subject.
Does it matter that Minecraft isn't just about diamonds? No.
When all you hear about Minecraft is that people find diamonds in it, it quickly seems to become a very dull and monotonous subject.

    People will hear you say,
"Oh, I actually finished a really nice build in Minecraft the other day."
And most people would just zone out the second you mention "Minecraft".
When you think about it, it really is the fact that it's populated by small kids. Games like CoD get loads of praise, and you could easily start a discussion about it. Yes, yes, yes. It's basically the same game revamped every year. Do people care? No, because they generally don't have someone squealing "OMG I GOT A HEADSHOT LAST NIGHT!!" every five minutes into their ear.

I'm not trying to bash at Minecraft or the community, but it is just a fact that it really is associated with young kids obsessing over compacted carbon.

As for me? Yeah, I do play MC with a couple of my friends, and I'll happily talk to any of them about it. But as soon as it's someone I don't know, or someone significantly older than me, I'll just assume they really couldn't care less about it.

(Sorry if this sounded really targeting and stereotypical, but it's just what I've had to put up with from a 9 year old for several years. Trust me, it gets old real fast )

Edit: Is This A Good 400$ Pc??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGX2SCX8akk

That's a £400 PC, which ends up being about $500-$600. Plus that would be £400 just on the PC, you'd need an extra ~£200 for the headset, keyboard, monitor, etc, and that would be at a stretch.

    I think you're going to be pushed to buy a gaming PC with peripherals for $450, but here goes;

    PC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvFqcL4cEaU ($250)
    Monitor: http://tinyurl.com/ztc7qu9 ($140)
    Headphones: http://tinyurl.com/j5gh95s ($20)
    Mouse & Keyboard: http://tinyurl.com/z5mdxho ($16)
Windows 7: Available anywhere on eBay for ~$60
    Total: $486

You can probably find a copy of Win7 for slightly cheaper than that, so it should end up being around your $450 mark.

    Have fun!

    They seem to have a Facebook page;
    https://www.facebook.com/minecraftexe/
is it maybe worth trying to contact them via that?

If not I'd probably go with the website host :/

    *Edit*
Any Mods you create for the Game from scratch belong to you (including pre-run Mods and in-memory Mods) and you can do whatever you want with them, as long as you don't sell them for money / try to make money from them and so long as you don't distribute Modded Versions of the Game.

    https://account.mojang.com/documents/minecraft_eula
I don't know if they're technically breaking the MC EULA by using AdFly (I'm not familiar enough with it to know if that's counted as actually profiting from it, but then again I don't see why it wouldn't count).
If it does, then that would be further evidence to get them to remove it.

Yeah, I'll try and get the rest of the PC put together by then - hopefully it should just be the matter of sticking in the graphics card then
    Thanks for the help! ^-^

ethernity4everEdit: Didn't see the GPU was used for mining, that means the used GTX980 was well OWNED and terribly used. Don't get that one if it was used for that...

I don't know if it has or not
My brother mentioned that they could be, just because they were used, but then I guess that's a chance you take with anything pre-owned.

BananaInChargeWait until the end of the month and buy a GTX 1070. You'll hate yourself if you get anything else now.

CraftyFoxeYes I agree with Banana, wait and get the GTX 1070 or 1080. It's the top of the line, must have, kinda of affordable OP graphics card.

Any idea how much they'll cost? It really can't be any more than £350 absolute tops.
Honestly I'd rather only spend a max of £300 on a graphics card, but from the sounds of it anything within that price range will be out of date by the end of the year.

    I googled it :B
    Decent pricing, I gotta say
So what's the equivalent of the 1070 then?
I read a load about the 1080 being double the Titan X and 980 Ti, but there wasn't much on the 1070's performance relative to existing products.
