eh, some blocks such as reinforced deepslate and the dragon egg *are* currently useless, but they're definitely getting uses in the future. reinforced deepslate is obviously a portal frame, and the devs have said before that the dragon egg will probably have a use involving endermites! :B

herobrine is real. I saw him with my own eyes.. i was digging around minding my own business in a cave when i heard footsteps behind me. MIND YOU this was on SINGLEPLAYER. I was like huh that was weird and kept on digging. I was mining so much gold and diamonds that i did not care. Then i heard the footsteps again only louder this time. still did not think much of it i am not the superstitious type i just thought maybe it was some ZOMBIE. next I am by a pool of lava and I am mining iron on the side of the cave when I hear the sound of items falling into the lava... like item burning sound. I dig my way around the pool of lava closer to the sound when I saw HEROBRINE for real WHITE EYES GLOWING he stared at me. I RUN. HE RUN TOO. I SHUT MY LAPTOP...

next time I boot up MC the title screen is RED and I open my world and all the ores in the cave are gone.... everything returned to normal after that... have not seen him since
