Minecraft/Discussion When will 1.7 be released ?

They just keep adding random crap to keep new people coming or keep the players who joined after beta interested. Every update they've witnessed since they started has been full of new exciting stuff and they've grown so used to it that if we just got another update like 1.3Beta (which I think was just like a few bug fixes and adding beds) people would flip their shit because there's not enough exciting things to go on about.
I mean look at what they're adding in this update! 3 or 4 new BIOMES. We'd be lucky to get 1 or 2 new ones a year in the past and now there's going to be that many just in the one update.
Some of the new mechanisms are fun but I'm really missing the way it was in beta.

I think you should try again dude. Look at the banners on the most popular servers and try to replicate those obviously without blatantly copying them.
The banners/servers like these usually get pushed to the back.

This is why we have a million "artists" and "Graphic Designers" or "Web Designer/Developers". Because nobody tells people that they're bad when they're bad. Kids never taste what it's like to be wrong because everything said has to be wrapped in fucking bubblewrap. Why else would every kid with Photoshop be a "professional designer", every kid with Dreamweaver be "Web Designer/Developer", and every kid who knows how to make a fucking Jframe be a "Coder".

Don't take the word of these assholes seriously, this was not good work but at least you tried. Try harder next time and harder the time after that and eventually you'll make something better.
Make your work with much higher standards in mind and fuck everyone else's opinion on it.
If it's good enough you won't need someone else's thoughts on it.

Sorry to be the only downer in the group.


Whoa dude i respect your opinion and everything but there is no need to swear and you have no right to call anyone disrespectful names if you don't like it go and do your own thing. I am sure Daddy Yankee has taken your point into consideration but to be honest you have extremely high expectations for a level... one


Level one doesn't mean I was born yesterday. It's a new-ish account.

I'd rotate the TnT to the side a little bit and I'd take the Bevel and Emboss layer effect off and add something else like a satin maybe.
I'd also add your name to the sides of your background. Helps people remember who you are and they might come back later.

What Can You Do?: Moderator and/or (preferably) Advertiser.
Why?: I'd like to help moderate because there's hardly enough decent moderation in servers as of late and I'm tired of it. I'd like to take the role of moderator seriously. Meaning that I don't play the server, I don't build with other people, and I don't necessarily help them. I just want to help keep the peace and ensure a great playing experience for all that I can.
In the past I had moderated a server (though technically I was "Admin") and basically devoted most of that time to finding hackers. Most are careless players and can be ratted out by simply stalking them. More effective with hacks of your own.

As for Advertiser, I work frequently in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and (recently) Adobe After Effects for my own projects and I'd like to begin branching out into assisting servers create a decorative and attractive online profile to attract players. It's my favourite hobby as of late to work in these so you'd be helping me as well as yourselves if I had this opportunity.

About Me: I'm a bit of a night owl in that I usually stay up until about 1AM most mornings. So if you ever needed to reach me you can bet that I'll probably be available (unless it's school).
I've been playing Minecraft since the 1.2.3 Beta. I'm a shitty builder but a great gatherer. I always like to brag about having found several stacks of diamonds in only a little more than a week (I had no life).
While being honest with you, I have used hacked clients in the past to help my playing experience. However that was over a year ago. I retired from hacking when I realized what it all had done to the community so now I stay clear of it.
I have been known to have a bit of a pottymouth and an addiction to starting fights on forums with people, though if this application is accepted that probably won't matter.
I'm not really a serious person, I like to joke around a lot.

Honestly? Don't make a song.
These things are so terrible and LAME. The lyrics are all thought up in half a second.
The original dude made madd stax off of it and so now every idiot with Maya and a YouTube channel is making them. It's unoriginal now and it will look really gay unless you're like...12, in which case it'll be totally radical and 2cool4skool because skool is dum and vegetables are gross.
Make them a nice video about global warming or some gay faggy tree-hugger shit.
