    For a horror comedy, it was good. But like Sith said some of the story beats could have been improved on.

    SPOILERS!

    Pros:
    Buddy as a character. This is a mascot character where you can feel he is trying to keep up the act of a friendly character while still being a threat for nearly the whole film.

    It understands its a horror comedy and knowing when to go "serious" for a second and can mix the two tones at will.
    While it's mostly in the background, if you realize those who get suck into the Buddy World are bascially thanos snapped out of the memories of everyone who ever knew them, this feeds into parts of its themes very well.

    The goofy kills towards the puppets. It's not shy of blood but Buddy deals with both humans and the puppets all the same but I liked seeing Buddy punching a clock more as it's funny.


    Cons:
    The middle slows it down a bit.

    I didn't really like most of the characters. Don't hate them but they're more like set pieces for Buddy to mess up or just not allowed to really shine.

    Half the plot. It explains enough but also not enough at the same time. Like you know why Buddy is hunting the cast down, a understanding of Buddy's own character etc but not the "how" any of it happen in the first place. Buddy took down his brothers (question mark?) to became the main star of the wild west show before rebooting the show to update with the times and forced the yellow one to build more cartoon puppets for him. However he's doing this for so long but he doesn't understand how his magical reset power works.

    To add onto that, the movie is very vague about what is the Buddy's World. Is it running on a Sci-Fi machine? Magical like the Dream World from A Nightmare on Elm Street? Does it hurt the film not knowing? No. Is it confusing? Yes.

    Finally my final issue is the big stupid design which I'll call "Dark Buddy" That thing looks stupid. Breaks the "mascot mole" both from a character and design wise and just turns Buddy into a default monster which only shows up for like 5 mins before Buddy decides he looks ugly and switches back to normal. Buddy's "fur" is his skin. when it was burnt, you can see skin and it doesn't look anything like a bad kaiju.

    Final Thoughts:
    I'll give it a 8/10 due to it's vague world building and mostly Dark Buddy being awful to look at. That said it is a good movie. If you can stomach horror films and love Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, you should check it out!

    Small vent time. Ignore this if you don't want to read me venting about mc server drama.

    Why am I the only one for the most part being messed with on the SMP? It's not a pvp server but time after time, it seems like I'm the one being builled for things I hardly understand. First was this hacker who join early in the season. He burnt my base/stuff/pets. The owner was able to fix the damages and brought the dogs back to life but that was the start of whats to come. The second guy was the book theft. He was a troublemaker but at least he didn't jump me at every turn. Then came the mace man. He loves to mace me for the love of the game. He got temp banned for a week due to being very annoying, When he got unbanned he called me a stich and warns me not to rat him out then he decided to see if my head was like a golf ball for his mace me again.

    Finally the latest guy. This needs some context so I'll explain. I'm basically making a mini-theme build base on a base who was the home to a group of players before they left. (off topic but when I was planning this, they were active but I was slow so I'm only getting to the mini theme build now) The remaining two has since moved closer to the more active players. I name my build the "group name's base 2!" as a joke for a second. The guy decided that was super rude as if I insulted his family kind of rude and mace me. He then said he will do it many times and he tried doing so. First time was a fail but then I breed more dogs bc I wanted to have more of them. The dude got on a tree and mace me... where my dogs was half a block beween me at nearly every side. If I moved, if he missed even by a bit, the dogs would have died.

    Frankey I love this smp but idk why I'm the guy most of the delinquents pick on the most. I just want to build!

    Rip the Osmp. Had some good times but I think the smp died. If this is how it ends, I had fun. I wanted to finish my base before this random final chapter but hey it's life. You were the goat OSMP.

    today's skin remakes are....... plague knight and specter knight from shovel knight!! i liked both of these fairly-well when i made them but was really frustrated by the shape of the plague mask on plague knight (and im still not entirely happy w it but i think it's a step in the right direction!!)

    with these remakes i was really trying to bring them closer in-line with the reference material (colors + design) while also making the shading more interesting to look at :]

    In a fit of rage, I have place a sign down at my base saying the theft is banned on my base. Immature? 100% But while I might take it down in the next 5 seconds, I have enter a state past rage and past allowing these types of nonsense to keep going on. He steals from me, curse at me. I was a discord mod for years, I should be able to handle this better but at this point idk what to do.

    I had a double chest nearly filled of books and now they're nearly gone. The theft who took them said he only "traded" for them with a third party for 5 stacks which btw was a illegal trade. which is by default theft already. but... most of my books went missing that very night i was offline.

    I hate it. I hate how I assume "item is missing? IT WAS HIM" But what else am I meant to think? Some random player took them instead? I know the theft is more active than others, lives near my base, has a history of doing so. I want to be wrong but man there is only one person I can think of who could even took so many books in one night. Heck even if he didn't steal most of them, he still did steal 5 stacks though that trade that I wasn't even online for so no matter the outcome, dude stole from me. Again.

    Dude tried to trap me by getting me to stand in a very sus ice block under a sign that said "DO NOT STAND HERE" I went to check out the rest of his base for clues to what kind of trap it was and found proof that my teammate fell for the trap but the mad dog of pmc was not born yesterday smh

    Just had a very interesting pass few mins with a sort of rivel to friendly person on the smp i'm on? We traded and then they followed me back to my base... he's sorta in a werird spot and now I'm in a sorta weird spot. I'm not letting him stay on my base for long since i'm a neutral party and he may or not be wanted by the most powerful people on the smp. Like I said I'm now in a weird spot lol
