Yeah, i'm guessing they will have a unique code for every one and will store it in a server file to keep it in so if you get banned it will keep that code in the banned section so you can't join

Could you make a ACCURATE skin of a spartan Hoplite or Roman soldier because all of the skins aren't very accurate on here and I love the history of the 2 Armys
If you are using Windows you can go into start search %appdata% a file named Roaming should come up you go on that locate your .Minecraft folder there you will find a file named Texture Packs you then open that file then drag the texture pack you want into there or you can go in to minecraft go into options then Texture pack then if you look at the bottom you will see Open texture pack folder click on that then drag your Texture Pack there
