One of the students at my high school died... they held his memorial service today. The guy was a senior, just about to graduate. My teachers were telling everyone "you matter" and "you are loved." There were even sticky notes with the same messages posted on nearly every locker in the school. And from what I know, I think he committed suicide.

And I believe what they say. You do matter. You truly are loved. Think of the countless other lives you've influenced. Your family. Your friends. Everyone.

Something as simple as a social media insult shouldn't take it too far. Just think of it as yet another bad day. It's just a bad day, but days end. And another day begins. And who knows, that day could be the best.

I don't mean to be giving a speech about this, but this is serious. What I'm trying to say is that you have the ability to influence the loves of others. Just sitting down with them at lunch could mean a lot to them. You can start friendships. You can help others. You can make the world a better place.

      You can change lives.
