Minecraft/Discussion Minecraft is Pathetic for me

Well, my computer goes through quite the lag when I blow up TNT or pour tons of lava. It used to crash but mostly I fix the problem by allocating RAM and by using a 8x or smaller resource pack. That way the world loads faster and FPS is smoother.
