I wanted to do Hanako's path, but I got fed up of her skittishness. I then somehow ended up running every morning with Emi and... inadvertently triggered her romance. I wasn't expecting it, but ah well. It was fun while it lasted. Loads of people across the interwebs were saying that her ending was one of the most feel-inducing, but I felt almost nothing. Just happy for Hisao and Emi, with a little bit o' the old loneliness in there too.
Lilly seems OK but not very interesting IMO. Rin's pretty interesting, but in a bro sort of way. I'll probably do her playthrough last. Shizune was the optimal choice, but Misha is the embodiment of all things I hate. Loud, obnoxious, always happy, colorful. Goddamn Misha. Kenji is hilarious.
