Hey, just thought I'd stop by and see what was shakin'. Yeah I used a weird 80's phrase. Whatever.
My all time favorite series would be Fate Stay Night. Manga, Visual Novel, Games, and of course the Anime. The fight scenes are great and meaningful. All of the characters are pretty original and seem to have sense of belonging in the series. It has a love story in it. I have gone through that much of the Visual Novel, but I am aware of some of the events. The romance in the anime itself was really endearing to me.
Quote: "Someday my memories will fade...and her voice, her actions, I might forget them as well, but I will always remember that I loved Saber," Yeah, I'm emotional thinking about it. Lol. I'm just that kinda a guy. I can really empathize with characters in games, books, anime, ect.
However my favorite anime, I mean soley anime would probably be School Rumble. I just love the show and it makes me smile anytime I see it. The English voice cast did, I feel, a better job of portraying the characters. It all just felt right. And the ending song who was redone by the 2 English voice actors was amazing.
I also love a lot of other anime, so no I'm not limited to romance, just happened to be in my two favorites.
The weirdest anime I've seen(well maybe not) was Puni Puni Poemi. Even the intro song is super weird. I ended up seeing the first episode at an anime club, years back. I didn't not like it to be honest.
