  yeah since my cobalt idea already has some greyish silver elements I was thinking maybe the cauldrons and hoppers and darker textured blocks like that don't even need to be changed, say they're just "rusted cobalt" that has returned to a darker silver colour idk. like i said iron is used in so many blocks and items theres a reason why its uncoloured, do people really want to see blue everywhere they go just so that they can use some blue armour? thats what made me reconsider and think well maybe this idea is more well suited for a gold swap or idk maybe chainmail can be a secret uncraftable cobalt armour or something, the idea isnt completely out of the picture

  I like the idea, but the color palette needs some tweaks. I wouldn't mind trying to see what is possible, I'd just need some good reference colors. I might play around with different colors, and send you a palette, or make the pack myself if you don't want to. I know it'll be a bit of work, but I think you are/were on to something.
