Love Live is also quite enjoyable. It's a music based anime, but the main character is the center for a good portion of the songs in the anime, so... yeah. The rhythm game has a lot more in terms of music/pretty artwork. Bonus points if you're into yuri. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) But if you're more into story/plot/all that other stuff, the anime is pretty weak. Although I'm not one to talk, since I cried after watching it another time.. The use of 3D animation is mildly disturbing, though, so if you're not into things like:
(dear lord)
Then you're better off not watching Love Live. I can say, however, that the animation in the movie is a lot better, 'cept the anime isn't the movie.
On the subject of 3D animation, I'd like to bring up
RWBY, AKA "Is it an Anime or Not an Anime - The Show." Generally, it's either love or hate when it comes to this show. Some call it a "disgrace to anime," (even though it's made by an American company) others call it a brilliant show that got off on the wrong foot. Yes, there is a line in between, but it's thin. Like, paper thin.
Don't get me wrong, I love RWBY. Yes, Season 1 was terrible, but Season 3 is just.. Dayum. Really, though, in the end it's up to the viewer on how they feel about it. Maybe it's not just your cup of tea, and that's okay. I'd still watch it just for the heck of it though. It's not like 20 minutes spent watching one episode isn't an enjoyable 20 minutes, right?
(Shoot, forgot I was supposed to recommend anime..) Err,
Nanatsu no TaizaiSakurasou No Pet Na Kanojo. Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?Dantalian No ShokaHimouto! Umaru-chanBaccanoGalileo Donna - Pretty animation, but storywise.. not so pretty. Watch it if you want, it's amusing for 5 minutes or so.
Yamishibai - This is an interesting one. It's not really the sort of thing people think of when you say "anime." Yamishibai is a South Park-esque series with ghosts, demons, curses, and lots of spoopy stuff. One episode is like 4 minutes, so I don't see why you shouldn't give it a try. I quite liked it.
