    Nice pc lol I have exactly the same except i have an i5 760 instead of a phenom tho i was looking at one when i was looking at what to get im really itching to get another 4gb ram by bank account just hates me at the moment haha

    get him one of those toys where you fit the right shaped block through the hole and try to explain the difference between a circle and a square.

    otherwise Chibi12 has the answer you took a design and modified it. In a way you copied the idea but if it is round and his is square i dont think you copied the thing outright.

    really just try to stop playing minecraft as much, casual gaming is fine but gaming has been proven to be addictive and Minecraft is very addictive. Talk to your mom dont go in there complaining and whining because you want a server, act grown up you would be surprised that she might actually listen to you. if your school marks are failing because of it the server should go period full stop no questions school is much more important. listen to her points and take them to heart mother knows best after all.
    also just remember this is just a game you can start another server at a later stage. it really isnt the end of the world.

    ShanteneWorld edit is a programme, not a mod/plugin...

    World edit is a plugin, you put it in our plugins folder on your server and run it as a plugin. you may have been mistaking it for McEdit which is indeed a program that you do not put on your server but meerly run as a program.

    I will list what I use and you may take from that what you want.
    • Commandbook (a bit less cluttered than essentials)
    • LWC (chest/door/furnace... protection)
    • Multiinv (im running multiple worlds this seperates inventories)
    • Multiverse
    • MyHome
    • MyWarp
    • PermissionsEX
    • Spout
    • worldedit
    • worldguard
    • dynmap
    • and a few more but they are not very useful or are just not working very well

    a few others would be herochat,ichat, any other chat thing you find to get the coloured ranks thing permissions ex has a chatmanager thing that does it very simply.
    My advice to you is figure out what type of server you want to run Survival, creative, Roleplay, Vanilla and then figure out what plugins will fit into your idea and use those.

    also I might add that depending on whether your pc is a beast or not you may struggle with that amount of slots (unless you just left it at the default 20). http://canihostaminecraftserver.com/ might give you a better picture although I'm not too sure how accurate this is so a general picture.

    ZaphodX is correct in any means sort out your port forwarding first.

    pretty good host I've just switched over to them but I went for the 2gb range been with them nearly half a month with no issues what so ever except a bit of lag when I set off like 200 000 tnt

    skull it is a device to do exactly what you said.

    Hamachi does not host anything to clear up any confusion it allows you to all join a shared network and therefore allows you to play minecraft.

    Bukkit is a server program it is really good but doesn't host anything.

    now to the question if you are looking to host a server you can really pick up some cheap servers that are just as professionally hosted as the uber large ones. someone mentioned treepuncher.com $5 a month would get you your 5 players. daddycheese.com is another good hosting service at about the same price. I would suggest getting a company to host it as you wont get the performance with a regular home solution they are less laggy and really a bit more fun as long as you know how to use ftp you are golden and on your way.

    frankly there are probably already SP mods out there to remove stuff you dont want. I know there are ones to add stuff so the opposite should work.

    there are plugins to disable certain mobs and you can blacklist certain blocks this will keep minecraft to the level at which your mind can handle it.
    Personally I think what ever Notch adds into the game is awesome! because just remember we all opted in to buy a game still in Beta, with no clear line of where it was going.

    as to the version numbers it is as IBloodstormI has said it is version numbering not 1+1 Math version 1 release 10 when he switches to version 2 it will start again at release 0 and go up again. here is a list of all sorts of brain numbing stuff http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_versioning

    I grew up in Zimbabwe and therefore learned a lot of the local languages and a word that pops up very often is Basop which means Beware in Ndebele. when it came time to find a gamer name I came up with B45op a bit of 1337 speak in there for good measure. this name suits me in every way... beware B45op he is standing behind you holding tnt. also I have a bit of a short temper I've been told so it fits in there too.

    to be honest you just post and post and post and when you are done doing that you post some more. not rubbish one word answers to any random thread but truly good thought out answers or good fun threads of your own just be yourself and chat about what ever interests you.

    this isnt to say i know anything about what I just said as i think im far from famous but haha i dont mind im having fun.
