The rarest blocks in Minecraft include:
- The dragon egg (obtained by killing the ender dragon)
- Deepslate Emerald ore (emeralds usually spawn high in the world so it is rare for them to be found in deepslate)
- Natural Spawning Diamond Block (can only naturally spawn in the secret rooms of a woodland mansion)
There are other but these are considered the rarest

Fireworks can be used late in the game to propel the player fowards when using an elytra. When making a base a good idea is to set up a sugar cane farm so when you get to the stage of needing fireworks to use with elytra, you have access to all the sugar that you need to make the paper.
