Have you just installed a new plugin?
Have you just upgraded your bukkit/spigot version?
    Make sure everything is compatible.

Go to the server startup log and see if there are any problems/errors initializing the NPC plugin and if you see any, google those specific problems.

Do /pl on your server. If you do not see the NPC plugin listed, it is not being recognized by the server, however, this is unlikely. If it is red, it is recognized by the server but it is not functioning correctly. This is usually due to a compatibility issue(see above). If it is listed and green, then it should be functioning properly and I have no idea what is wrong. Try doing the /npc command while keeping an eye on the server log and see if an error message appears.

    Also:
    VolcalicJaguarTry updating/re-installing the NPC plugin.

For a little less than $100, you could get an nvidia 740:
    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_ ... nvidia+740

If you extend your budget to $150, you could get a 750:

You shouldn't need a 980 to run shaders correctly

Quicktime player comes with your mac. It has a built in screen recorder. Just go to file>new screen recording. You can even select the area of the screen you want to record.

You can join the server now, and start out with a guest plot to prove your skill. We are not currently looking for staff though, just builders. Also, we can't accept you as a builder on the forum, unless your provide us with a link to some of your work

Linux beats all. Don't say it sucks before you've ever tried it. There are literally hundreds of Linux distributions out there.

In java you are limited by a compiler that converts all your code into computer language for you. Maybe a mod creator is a little higher up in the cycle, but java isn't anywhere near actual computer language. Writing the language java took thousands of people thousands of times more time to write it then a mod creator. Also, in java, you make calls to functions in library's that someone else spent hours upon hours creating. It is called taking advantage of the technology around you, and using it to your advantage. There is no need to reinvent the wheel, as is there is no need to limit people with creative ideas about mods with none or little coding background from using tools created by people who used tools to create those tools.

They are a large server site with many users; do they need to resort to being parasitic over other minecraft sites to get their users, after they already have thousands?

I don't think mojang will do that, but it would be awesome. Maybe someone else will do that someday.
