IF you are planning on having economy as part of your server then go with chestshop like H20 suggested, if you not you can just use the essentials economy and shops built in.
Economy shop looks like this:
[buy] QUANTITY ITEM ID $PRICE
And you have a shop Likewise you can have it for players to sell there items in. [sell] etc...
Ice curle I have a proposition for you, you can pay 50-50 with me because I have ordered a 3 month server but I need someone to pay for the domain and forum for 1 month, add me on skype and we can talk more! WEll AMD Athlon's are nice processors and will do perfectly unless you really have the money to get a bigger better one. I can't really advise you on a processor as it depends on so many factors.
Dolphin, I'm looking for an admin that can pump really money into the server. I have already ordered a server for the quarter of the year, is there any possibility of you filling this job, you would only need like £15-£20 I think.

You need a graphics card! Athlon II x2 are fine, 2.8ghz is enough too. You probably have a rubbish intergrated graphics card and that's what makes you lag. Your CPU is fine. you could try overclock it to like 3.3ghz if you know what you are doing.
Graphics card is a must! That is why your lagging! 5GB ram is good too.
It's not so good but for your first it's ok, just continue to practise. Watch youtube videos they will really help you, try add some people on skype that do GFX and ask for advice or GFX packs that can help you too advance. Play around and use your imagination, and photoshop is an absolute MUST if you are wanting to be a graphics designer, and like theCraftyFin said there are ways of getting these programs for free, they are illegal but you can find them on youtube.
