    Would be cool to see a replacement texture for Bedrock that goes with Vines hanging from it all over the place.

    One warning though: Structures like Village, Pillager Outpost, Nether Fossil, etc. that generate 'on the surface' will all try to generate on top of your Bedrock roof. While that sounds like a bad thing, I think it would be interesting to have structures hanging from the ceiling (through Structure Void columns & Jigsaws). You could even make the Bedrock texture fully transparent to make it appear that there's no ceiling, and let sunlight through :).

    Sorry for the rant lol, but I do think your concept is pretty cool.

    The way vanilla does it is by using 4 separate images for the various stages of bow draw. Its model file references all 4 of them.

    To have a look at exactly how this is done, try opening the downloaded .jar file from %appdata%/.minecraft/versions for the version you're working with. It can be opened with WinRAR (and others) to view its contents - you'll be able to see exactly how vanilla does the textures in /assets/minecraft/textures/item and how it does the model in /assets/minecraft/models/item :)

    This would require working with the bow's model, in minecraft:models/item/bow.json.

    The model includes the various stages of bow-drawing, and can be modified :).

    The incorrect spelling of "Bernie Sanders" by improperly including an apostrophe in his last name is somewhat disrespectful.

    In the article, there is a reference to "Bernie Sander's memes", like they're the memes of Bernie Sander. Either disrespect has been given to Bernie Sanders intentionally by misspelling his name, or disrespect has been given him accidentally by failing at English grammar.

    The phrase "Bernie Sanders' memes" is correct and affords the respect we all deserve. Please correct this error.

    This might sound obvious, but I'd suggest using darker colours nearer the edges and lighter toward the centre of each piece.

    Along an arm, this would be lighter along its long middle to show roundness, and darker along its long edges to fade it away and obscure the sharp edges.

    The way that the side of the vanilla Bone Block is shaded is a perfect example.

    I've been using predicates for some things at a basic level, but I haven't found a lot of really good resources that explain everything they can do. This tip is extremely useful, because I didn't know a predicate could just give me a random number.
    {
    "condition": "random_chance",
    "chance": 0.25
    }

    I really appreciate your help. I am very new to using commands, functions, tags, and predicates. It's useful help like this that helps others succeed here on PMC, and I can't say thank you enough!

    Not at all, I appreciate any help I can get. I don't quite understand all of it, but I'm willing to take a crack at it.

    That being said, the goal is to have the cog structure naturally generate with chunks as one explores the dimension. This is exactly what already happens, but they spawn too high in the y. If I understand right, it sounds like your solution may change that - I don't want players to need to use commands to make cogs generate, and I don't want there to be structure or redstone blocks that also spawn with the cog; perhaps my lack of knowledge is causing me to miss something!

    I'm not asking for a tutorial haha, but to clarify, would your proposed solution result in what I'm going for?

    Yes, it's in an nbt file created by a structure block just like you said. I was referring to the cog structure in my then-unreleased Aes: Metal Dimension pack. The portals are made from iron & lava.

    It seems that some of what I'm trying to figure out is likely in custom noise settings. Try as I might, I've been unable to get Minecraft to recognize Aes' existence when it has custom noise settings; other dimensions work fine with custom noise, and I'm assuming that the tf_portals inclusion interferes somehow.

    If you do make a custom biome, you should make something like "Dark Ocean" to accomodate the new Sharks.

    I was thinking of the same shade for sky, fog, water, and main Shark color (something like a dark slate blue, maybe #506070) - this would darken the world and make sharks more difficult to see in their biome.

    If this suggestion ends up being totally useless, then I'm sorry! But I wanted to share my thoughts :)

    Alrighty, I should clarify my Shark suggestion as well - I'm hoping to see them hover around the topmost water layer, so their fins can poke above the water threateningly.

    Also, no Baby Sharks under any circumstances..

    I really thought the OP made it clear that I'm inquiring about including it as a part of a skin; I'm certain I hadn't even implied anything about something official from Microsoft (where did that come from!), but I'm glad you've given me the opportunity to clarify even further.

    I'm only wondering whether people would find it interesting to choose to include these Sigils on their skins!

    I would also like to suggest that Dōmo-kun would feel very much at home in many Minecraft worlds.

    And so commandeering airships would be even worse. I'm even picturing the coal you'd feed into the naturally-occurring Furnace in the structure to speed it up... but yes, there would be all kinds of brokenness introduced with things like flying carpets. Super-speed flying also wreaks havoc on slower systems, as so many more chunks are being accessed or built.

    But a miner can dream!

    I can't lie, GGCrosby speaks the truth. But sharks!!

    And there does seriously need to be an actual update that focuses on the sky, like we have with the caves and whatnot coming. A nice 4+ more birds (w/nests & more eggs), flying carpets, cloud types (e.g. cumulonimbus), and naturally-occurring moving Airship 'structures' that can be boarded, captured, and controlled.
