Why do you think you should be a TMod?
Back Story:
It all started when I noticed many players breaking the rules on the server. Block glitching, griefing, spamming, advertising and more. I realized at that point, I needed to do something about it. Most of the rule breakers didn’t listen to me even if I tried to reason with them. I contacted a few moderators and joined the forums. After learning my place on the server and forums, I knew what to do. I have made a commitment to the server and I try to help everyone I can.
Reasons:
I think I should be a moderator because I love helping people on this server and try to explain the basics to new players. I help all of the people with questions that they have. If a player comes over the chat with a question that I know the answer to, I try to help them with it. I try to help as fast as possible. I also believe I would be a good moderator because I have made a good relationship with many people on the server and I believe most of the people like me.
I also believe I would be a good mod because I want to help people with their issues such as griefing, harassment and spamming. There have been numerous situations where there were no mods on and people were spamming and advertising other servers. If I were a moderator I would be able to fix these problems and prevent them from happening in the future. When I go on the server I want to help all of the other people before getting to do things on my own time. I want to be there if someone is spamming or griefing someones island. I believe that moderators should be respectful and should always do the right thing. I will do all of these promised things everyday I join in the server.
I am also a very active member on the forums and try to help anybody that is having issues or needs to talk. I try to answer as many questions as possible each day. On top of that, I am also super active on .ORG and spend all of my time there. It is the only server that I play on these days.
What qualifications do you have?
Qualities:
- I am highly respectful. No matter what rank or how old, I treat all players the same. If I see someone disrespecting someone, I will address it. I treat people the way I would like to be treated.
- I am a honest person. I own up to my mistakes and tell the truth. No matter how small, I will own up to it and strive to do better.
- I have focus. When I am playing on the server, I focus on helping people not on making my island look better. I focus on the chat more so than personal needs. When I am helping the server, I try to reduce personal distractions.
- I am communicative. Even if I don't know you, I try to make you feel welcome to the server and the forums. I try and respond to any help requests or just messages sent to me. I talk a lot on the chat and reach out to players that may need help.
- I am dependable. IF you need me on the server, I will be there. If I am unable to get there, I will notify someone else that can help. You can trust me to be on when I say I will be.
- I am very polite. Even though I come from a generation that isn't to respectful, I believe in the old morals that you respect everyone and listen to what you are being told. I use correct grammar in the chat and fix my mistakes if I make them.
- I am humorous but serious. I have a very good sense of humor but I take the rules seriously. I know when to joke around and when to crack down. If you want to joke around about something funny, I will but if you break the rules, I take that very seriously.
- I have a calm personality. I keep calm in stressful situations. Even if there is a issue in my life, I do not let it affect my helping.
- I understand users problems. If I do not understand their problems, I clarify what they need.
- I volunteer a lot. I work with two organizations. I am a junior firefighter and have most of my courses done. I also work with an organization that brings wounded veterans our kayak fishing as a mental rescue program, This organization is called Heroes On The Water and we are completely, 100%, non-for-profit.
- I am also a fast typist that can execute commands in seconds if needed. This is needed with all the help and other various requests mods receive.
How long can you be active on the server everyday?
Weekdays:
3-6 hours or more depending on schoolwork.
Weekends:
At least 5 hours depending on my work schedule.
How long have you been playing? Never but hope to join!
Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes I was a highly respected moderator on my friends Survival Games server until we weren't able to support it anymore and it was shut down. I own my own server that many people know about. I am also the CEO on a hub server.
