Okay so I figured it out.
The problem was that one of the tellraw raw commands in the load.mcfunction file had an empty field, and because of this the entire command was wrong.
And this caused the entire datapack not to work. Honestly, why don't they just add like an error output in a console viewable by the developer or just skip the erroneous code? Or does it already exist? Please do tell.
