I can't stand when server owners or admins give their friends or family items or privilege. I also hate it when admins mess with your stuff or 'help' you by giving you things.
It's more rewarding in survival to show what you have achieved through hard work. When that's undermined, the feel of challenge disappears and I lose all motivation and interest.
