In Fallout: New Vegas You are a messenger that was shot in the head but survived so you go around the wasteland and try and find the guy that tried to kill you. In Fallout 3 you are a Vault Dweller that was born in the vault and your dad goes rouge and you go and leave trying to find your dad while encountering many problems on your journey. In Fallout 4 you were a civilian that was with his family then the area was being bombed and you ran to the shelter near by and where put into a cryogenic state (Frozen to preserve you) And were unthawed to see your son be taken by a man with a scar on his face and your wife being shot. you then journey out to try and find the man that took your son.
