1. Have you ever had an administrator position or similar role on a Minecraft server before, or have one currently? If so, list all servers you have had a similar role on. If you no longer have this position on a server, explain why in detail.
I've owned my own server before, and want to give it another go. I hosted it through MC Pro hosting, so I feel like I didn't get the full experience of a server. I had to close it because of a lack of available funding. I've also local hosted a server for my friends and I to mess around on. I've moderated and been an admin multiple times throughout all the servers I've been on, but they all closed down due to funding.
2. Have you ever experienced a server fail? If so, were you a staff member or player on this server? Why did that server fail? How can you use that previous experience to your advantage in the future?
Most of the server fails I've been a part of were due to funding. A lack of donations coming in to keep the server running. With a lack of donations, it means players are not enjoying the server, and therefore something should be changed.
3. Are you familiar with where to get Bukkit plugins at? Do you know how to install a plugin and configure them?
Yes.
4. What are your favorite plugins? Why are they your favorite? Do you have any plugins that you do not like?
I myself like CoreInspector and NoCheatPlus. Keeps the server fun for everyone, and makes it easy to locate people who are hacking/cheating/general trolling.
5. What is your favorite type of servers? PVP, friendly, PVE, Raiding, RPG, etc. Why do you like this type of server?
I enjoy freindly PvE, with some PvP mixed in with like minigames and such. Survival by yourself gets quite boring after some time, so with enough players online, you all could go and compete for diamonds, gold, iron, whatever.
6. Do you have any experience with back-end management? VPS set up or managing, Linux knowledge, Minecraft control panels, etc
I've used filezilla if that's what your talking about.
7. Do you have any other skills related to this position you would like to note? If so, please list and describe each.
I'm a lead lifeguard in my work place, and I was employee of the month in September. I've held interviews for both my own server, and for my job, so I'm good at talk to people, and getting down deep.
I am currently looking for a way to fill up my free time. I've always loved being staff on Minecraft servers, and am currently looking for a server I can settle down into.
