Depends on what texture pack.

But in default I love the forest biome with a little beach.
So peaceful, so lovely..

Use Pistons to make a Giant Pit that leaves you with half a heart and in the Next Area you have to fight mobs.

(And hide a Giant Chest full of supplys Behind a wall)

Epic FlameCows are dumb, and their eyes annoy me. Especially their annoying 'Moo' sound. I am trying to RELAX in my home, but my animal farm won't shush. 'MOOO! MOOO! MOOO!'. I hate cows. Their face and noises make me want to torture them. I want to slaughter every last cow in Minecraft! They just don't belong. Imagine your animal breeding farm.10 Cows. You. Relaxing. Annoyed. Stupid sounds. Staring into their dimwit face. I! Hate! Cows!

That was the stylish option if you really so paranoid that somone would kill your Animals, Just use Cobblestone

But i use glass so that is what i said!

Potions are very Efficent on Multiplayer as Weapons, Have 3 people coming after you throw 3 Splash Potions of Harming II at them and watch there Items Drop.

I can see your point but not all "Public" are bad, But it is hard to find one with a Decent Community and Decent Buildings.

If you are sick of people killing your Animals in Multiplayer then just cover up the Entire Farm with glass and make the only way to enter a Wooden Door or Just farm Melons and Wheat.

It isn't that hard.

I think this will be better then 1.8 honestly, The idea of Animal Breeding interests me, A other dimension is Awesome, And the Enchanting or "Repairing with Tiny Upgrades" sounds good if a little bit useless.
