i got something kinda worked out,used pistons to send a pulse down where i have mass amounts of room. now i just need to get the command block to say something only if the player has the lvl removed

i got it to work!

command block 1:
/clear @p written_book 0 1 {title:"Creative",author:"bmmccarty",}
command block 2:
/give @p written_book 1 0 {title:"Creative",author:"bmmccarty",pages:["{extra:[{selector:\"@p\",color:blue},{text:\"\n\nHave this in your inventory to activate Creative in the city \"}],text:\"\"}"]}
command block 3:
/gamemode 1 @p

Requirements:
3 command blocks
2 redstone dust
1 redstone torch
1 comparator
1 button/lever/pressure plate (which ever you need)

id rather not use plugins.

it should be possible with command blocks i just dont know the right coding to do so
