Has anyone showed you www.minecraftedu.com ?

Its a full on project full of resources to help teachers put minecraft into school in very educative ways. I recommend showing the school board it. Over 1000 different schools across the world are already using it.

i never said anything about removing, flagging or deleting content off PMC. all the most popular list would require is a filter to only include 1.5+ content which is a field chosen when editing the texture pack profile.

This would only require maybe 3-5 minutes of code work to make it happen. Players will still be able to search older packs and any the are kept up to date will quickly return to their spot and probably higher up when they update the field in the texture pack profile to 1.5

In my opinion, Virtual Minecon was a failure, they refused to plan appropriately.

I was approached to speak at this event because i founded and run Project 1845. my name was used only for publicity. i was not told when to visit, where the server is and nit told when i was speaking. Worst kind of planning an event can have if they cant keep their speakers in the loop.

I didnt know when virtual minecon was on until it was over.

I will however be speaking at MInecon Server Edition, they are highly organised, planned ahead and a far more stable system. Customer service for MineconSE is also fantastic. Cant Wait!!!

What is booth for? Since i been asked to speak as a panelist i think it would be appropriate to create a Project 1845 booth that contains information and answers of frequently asked questions about my work and the project to help more interesting questions arise.

you only posted it 3 days ago lol. and yeah, this would be a great idea, until you have 70 builders..... maybe not such a big avatar thumbnail though, maybe a expandable list at the end of the info section of a project to give credit to other builders

well personally i would subscribe to someone if they make work I like or are planning to make stuff that i would use or want to check out.

I never subscribe to people if in the description asked for subscriptions, the work should speak for itself

lol, well if him and a level 1 gave me opposing recommendations on a project e.t.c, most likely i'll go with what tharesan says. I do trust his judgement. Players joking around are funny, not trolls.

I think the level system helps newbies when those high ranked commend and give advice.

Its is true that a mature level 4 is more worth than a level 40 troll. But then ask, how many level 40 trolls are there or let alone level 60?

Trolls may only get to level 10 or so but they move on to shiner and newer things. Those that are high ranked have the patience to keep working for the community and then rewarded for their hard work.

Or take this scenario. If a level 60 player gives constructive recommendations on your texture pack but a level 5 comments and recommends the opposite, who's opinion will you respect more?

Trolls don't put in much effort to troll, that's why they never get to level 40+ But those like Scuttles, or Conquer or myself for that matter, put in a lot of legitimate effort into making the community a more worthwhile place to hang out.

C418 from mojang visited our server several months back and he was impressed enough to tweet specifically about my buildings. He recommended I posted them on Planet Minecraft and... several months later I'm still here

excuse me but redstone torches are handy.

In a sea of yellow torches in an underground chasm, redstone torches are fabulous to have a breadcrumb trail without u having to de-light the area when you leave

Jump on a server and ask how to make a chest. (ive had 4ppl ask that on my server in the past)

or..

Request a portal to be created that would take longer to get to the portal than to the location just next to spawn. (we have a special [Noob] title for ppl who ask that one)
