The only one I agree with here is less laggy for people with laptops our older/not good enough computers. Better graphics? No. The graphics are fine the way they are. The 16x16 graphics are what make minecraft minecraft. and furniture? More useless garbage? nah, we can build furniture using the blocks that are already there. Minecraft is about being creative with what you have, not having everything handed to you. Also, if your game is laggy, you might want to try OptiFine if you haven't already. Don't drastically lower the settings, just the ones you don't notice that much (ex. for me, it's water animations... they are basically useless in my opinion. Nice, but when I have the option to turn them off, im all in...)
