Yeah, I've seen it used really well in modern builds. But I usually stick to a medieval style when I'm building and I always have trouble making it fit in lol

I tend to find it hard to build with it in a way that looks good and when you use too much of it in one area it usually turns out looking ugly.

When I build a house in survival I usually go for a medieval style small caste design. I normally build in a plains biome because I'm too lazy to clear out the land in other biomes lol. I love using the new lanterns because they fit great with the stone and spruce designs I go for.

I usually don't have much of a problem with mobs, I usually just die by falling in lava or off a cliff lol
