Team Fortress 2 - actually a lot of fun but is very good at digging a hole in your wallet, I think I've spent $70 on that game withing the month and a half I've had it.

I plan on spending £400 in one go, getting the base parts, then gradually spending more on extra features as I get further into the build.

Most likely gonna get a copy of 7 for now, and upgrade to 10 when there aren't any issues with it. I have a brother who had Win 8.1, I really didn't like it. Hopefully Win 10 will be better, but I will wait for it to 'culture' first.

Well, I think it will be fine if you do. I create mods with MrCrayfish's Model Creator program, and that just means I get a visual of the item before its in game, and also means I don't have to code it all in json. So yeah, you should be fine.

MojangI would like to take this opportunity to remind people that we have not yet balanced the new (or existing) features. Things will either be completely overpowered or hilariously underpowered, so keep that in mind when playing with any new stuff!


and i know its a bit old but it rolls out for all snapshots anyway... since its an in dev preview


PVP is actually balanced amazingly in this snapshot. But PVE doesn't work so well. Theres balancing to be done, but I think the PVP is really good.

Mods, newer maps could be better, older maps could be better, depends on the person.

I personally play in 1.7 because 1.8 removes metadatas. I build on the ravand creative server using the Conquest_ resource pack that uses optifine to give each metadata an individual texture. I don't build in anything higher than 1.7.10. But then 1.8 is better for Command blocks, unfortunately some of the Mojang staff are ignorant so we will never get a way to have that many blocks ever again.
