Communities/Teams Looking for Builders

I would be willing to build if I had some more information about the type of server and amount and type of work. I do not require any compensation with the condition that I can use my work as part of my future resume's and work history. This is because I have taken a large leave and do not have much proof of my work history at building.

If we could talk over voice chat to sort out the details than I can get to building, but vocal communication is not necessary.

history

I could take a shot at this, I'm not too familiar with sea rigs but i used to work at a few oil camps on the north slope. For what purpose do you want this built? And how abandoned do you want me to make it? More info on its purpose will help me.

I'm an old builder just getting back into building, so this sounds like a fun mini project, would it be alright if I showcased it on my profile when I complete it? Again more info on purpose would be usefull.

O, also, do you want it in a specific version of minecraft?

I'd like to help, I don't have the most time to give but i have a lot of experience, i've played since classic and have recently gotten back into building. I am 19 years old, my skype is thomasj.stalker, and i have a job that has me working monday-friday@ 8pm-3:30 PST, depending on what i'm doing, i'l have a few hours to work generally every day, but i'm big on communication. I live in Anchorage Timezone which is an hour behind PST, i dont really youtube, but its something i may get into in the distant future.

Skills within video production (Editing, PS, Gimp?): Decent knowledge with Screenflow(Mac recording/editing software) i duno much about gimp, but i'm sure i could learn quickly enough if needed. I'm still getting the hang of creating thumbnails but I can still do em.

Experience With YT (How long, Solo/group?): Solo, i've made a few videos a long time ago, before I got a musicians microphone and when I had no idea what I was doing, but at least it got me some editing experience.

Strengths: Beefy computer, Sure pg-27 audio microphone, Sony Headset, cheerful attitude, I love talking with people, and I love potatoes.

Weaknesses/cons: I live with my parents until me and my sister get an apartment, (top priority) therefore it can be quite noisy sometimes, other times its peaceful.
I am not going to be available a lot, with my two part time jobs, personal life, and family drama, but i'l have dramatically more time when I get my own apartment.

Team Skills: (How you work well with others): I am the definition of Team... or at least I think so, i'm an excellent critical thinker and voice my opinions well, however I know when to back down, as well as dispersing arguments and I have the occasional super joke that lifts everybody's day.

Character: Id prefer to be Roger (mwahahaha) but I could fill as anybody else or as an extra, i'm not to concerned about getting a main role, I just don't want to be Jonathan.
About Yourself: I like potatoes, I like long walks on the beach, oh and I get friend zoned by everyone... at least I don't make mortal enemies. I have some experience with voice acting, however I don't think im expierenced enough to be comfortable with somebody who is talking for the majority of the machinima. (exception with roger)

Any comments?: Skipped High school when I took my GED, went to UAA Matsu at 16 year old. I want to get back into building after a well needed 5 month break. I can use World Edit. I am also ready today.

Why you want to help:
Well I need something to do, I just missed a semester of college while visiting sick family. When I return to College i'l have considerably less time, but I always have the weekends. and I'l plan my classes to have as much free time as possible.

Are you good working in a team or alone?:
I am good at working alone and in a team, I find it relaxing to build alone, its meditative. I also understand the importance of working along with people, to give my opinion and thoughts on things without being pushy.
