So you work on a project and you have no idea why? Whoah.
You wanted people to ask you questions, so Zitzabiz and I are asking you the most basic one there is. If you don't have a clear vision of something unique that will set you completely apart from Youtube that you can articulate, you won't surpass them as a site. That has nothing to do with whether or not you've released. It's something that should be on the table as soon as a project like this is started.
As a content creator, I stopped sharing on Youtube for a variety of reasons. I'm interested in another service, but if you're not much different that Youtube and can't tell me why you're different, then I (and probably many others) won't go anywhere at all. Telling us you'll moderate and remove copy-written content doesn't change anything as Youtube does that already.
codbo2loverHi, i am needing a developer for my minecraft server. I am very busy most of the time and am unable to work on it. Also when i am able to work on it, there is too much to do and i need help doing it all.

having knowledge about how servers work
*note, you do not need to know how to code but modify plugins etc.
