It's extremely big, with two different ports for different parts in the world. When I checked how many players were online, there were 8470, but I've seen more on the server, up to twice that amount at once. Mineplex has a youtube channel called MineplexOfficial, with 282 thousand subscribers.
It's the most well known Minecraft server, without a doubt.
