I have a new one that I received this afternoon. Its more of something that happened and the fact they put one in. In the last week ive had a new player that is probably around 13 who for some reason told there friends that they were a co-owner on my server. I honestly dont understand how they expected to pull this off but whatever. anyways ive had a influx of staff applications from this persons friends thinking that they will automatically be added to staff. Now this afternoon I had to review a ban appeal from one of these players and right after they filled out a ban appeal for cursing out a staff member they decided it was a good time to go ahead and put in a staff application. All I could do was have a facepalm moment.

When I started this thread I didnt think there would be this kind of response lol. I thought Id just be putting a few of the many dumb ones ive gotten over the years but wow. keep it up

Not trying to make fun of this site or anything but there is pretty much a entire section of the forums for dumb staff applications. It seems like 90% of the apps in there are from young kids. Has anyone ever had luck finding new staff using that method? personally I like to have known the person for at least 3 months before considering them from staff.

Why does a 8 year old put in a staff application

another dumb one I got once was from a 11 year old that was pretending to be a 18 year old. I told him that I had to talk to his mother before he could join staff only to confirm that he was 11. When I talked to his mother and explained that he had tried to become a staff member on a non-profit adult staff server she laughed.

(Any Experience with plugins: duh minecraft)
(Why would you like to be added to staff: cuz people on this server need more order. You need someone thats in charge of the staff and thats me!)
(Have you ever been banned from a server and if so how many and for what reason: yes, 3, and the ban reason was go away whiney child.)
(Any other info: I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have no criminal record. and have many friends.)

This one was a classic for what Azrel said. someone that didnt read any of the requirements and realize that my staff consists of adults and not children. The only underage moderators I have are at least 15 and there are only 2 of them.

You should learn to make the walter white special. But for the most part good luck. I remember my first job, I was so nervous in the interview and afterwards I couldn't believe they had hired me. Always treat the customers as nice as you can. Evan If they are being total jerks.

I dont understand why they always say that if they dont get admin that they will ddos us.
*trembles in fear* oh not the ddos. (I find it funny how they think this will get them added to staff)

I actually did let him know that. He eventually got a account with a more family friendly name and still plays on our server.

That is how I responded when I first saw the application. I had to leave it in there for a week to let all of my staff see it lol
