A warm light-cool light slider.
Normal minecraft light shades would be in the center of the slider, and changing the slider would either make minecraft use more warm/red/orange light or more cool/blue light, which would make minecraft personally more pretty and visually appealing.
It would also be cool if there was a "Zombie Apocalypse" Mode where the only hostile mobs that spawn are zombies with extra health and damage and can infect the player.
It would be stuck on hard difficulty and with only one life, like hardcore mode.
There would also be ruined towns/npc villages with essential supplies for the player to explore.
