I think a high resorce and low durability version of wings for early/mid game would be ok.
One that isnt easy to farm, like 54 phantoms drops (9 phantom drops make a bigger version) and 3 gold blocks.
Not enchantable.
Would be nice for the casual players, and could even be part of story driven content.
Have duribility set to like stone tool lv. Or some where between stone and iron tools duribility.
