It only bumps it up on the projects page if it's been more than 24 hours since the last update.

Meh, sucks that he's quitting but doesn't really effect me, I've only really ever used it to downsize maps. All my importing + building I do with WE anyway. :/

So, I clicked on the downornot.com link, and apparently downornot.com is down. Oh the irony.

Judging from the way the third link is named, it's nothing to worry about, prolly just the CDN the site uses. (CDN = content delivery network)

Nice to see a project contest for those of us that don't like making skins. Definitely interested in entering this! *ditches current project* xD

Most likely under the DMCA, SOPA/PIPA haven't even been voted on yet. Looks like they're going to contest the ruling anyway.

I'd like one that doesn't use Java, I have this weird problem where my system (and java) are 64-bit, but my browser is 32-bit (why Google doesn't offer a 64-bit Chrome download is beyond me.. lol) and so the java plugin doesn't work. :/

OS X is a fork of Unix, so is Linux, so yeah, they're similar as far as structure goes. Personally I use Windows because it's what I'm used to and familiar with, plus pretty much everything runs on windows.. And I build my own computers, which pretty much rules out having a Mac. I don't want to spend extra money on hardware that's worse than what I get for cheaper so I can use an operating system that's "better".

..I've used Linux before but it's sometimes a pain to set stuff up and there can be compatibility issues as well.

I think it's quite possibly a problem on both sides of the issue tbh.. I personally like the yogscast and find them amusing, but you know, hey, maybe they said something that people thought was inappropriate? Maybe they are a little egotistical? Who knows. They really don't seem the type from watching their videos, but idk.

..Then there's notch. >_> I've never been particularly impressed with him, and the interview the yogcast did with him certainly didn't help my perception of him at all. Releasing bits and pieces of the story on twitter certainly isn't helping anything either.

It's probably just a big misunderstanding from some really tired people, or a giant troll from notch.. sigh.

Hmm, that probably explains why he stepped down as CEO. Wonder how Apple will do with him gone. :/

Yeah, I'm currently up to 10 trillion right now doing what you did. Thing is, they can't actually make a machine like this, it only supports up to 16 drives. It's calculating the cost for 999,999,999 drives.
