Chat Changes
In order to keep the chat as simple as possible while still keeping cross server chat. I've changed the chat format so that the "»" icon which represents the end of the username section of a player's chat is a different colour on each server. You will also be able to hover the icon and check what server people are on. The benefit of this change is that people can easily differentiate which server the person has sent a message from and this would keep players interacting with each other across servers.
Perhaps one of the biggest updates allows you to hover someone's name and find their stats, quickly and easily. These stats will be different from server to server.
Also for the people asking about turning off cross server chat when the server gets busy we have finally implemented this. To toggle this simply type /gtoggle in-game and you will only see the server's chat of the server you are on.
CREATIVE
Today, we would like to announce that our Creative server is going through yet another reset. Before you start panicking, we are not resetting FreeBuild and there will be a full-world-download available for our old maps for your single player pleasure, coming soon!
Here are some awesome new Creative features:
New Spawn
65x65 plots
Plot Merging: If you own two plots next to each other, you can now use /plot merge to combine them together! This was a highly requested feature for the past few months. Additionally, you can also request to merge plots with someone else, if they accept, both your plots will be combined into 1 mega plot. There are no limits to merging. Merging is only available for the donator ranks
More Plot Commands:
- /plot clear - Everyone now has access to an instant /plot clear with no lag
- /plot rate <1-10> Member+'s can rate plots from 1-10
- Plot Helpers: Plot helpers can only build on your plot if you're online
- Trusted members: Trusted members can build on your plot even if you're offline
