Ok, I used a 1.16.4 save of my original world and updated through every version since up to 1.18. Everything seemed fine but I went to that same area (different file but same world) and the same thing happened. Guys I really hope someone knows what's going on here because as it stands I cannot update any 1.16.5 or before worlds to 1.18 without this happening. Currently I have done two different worlds, and one different file of one of those worlds and gotten the same issue in all three. I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but right now I am looking at editing programs to move my builds to a 1.18 world since I cannot update those worlds without some issues. I can still play on them but only in previously loaded chunks.
Any help would be appreciated very much.
