Name: Chicken Catcher
Description: Players are locked in one spot (When the game starts they have 5-10 seconds to find a good position) for the game. Several chickens will spawn randomly, and the "locked" players have to try to grab as many as they can.
How?
At the start of the game each player is equipped with a fishing rod, a tool (Firework maybe) that claims all chickens within a 5X5 radius, and an item that takes them out of the game. To grab chickens, players must hook the chicken with the fishing rod, and that counts as one point (once the chicken is hooked it disappears). Each round is 30 seconds and players start with 3 lives.
How do you win/lose?
Each round is 30 seconds, and to go into the next round, you must hook at least 15 chickens within the time limit. If you fail to do so, you lose a life until you have none left.
Won't the chickens stay in one spot, making it easy to hook them?
I was thinking that a plugin or mod could be installed with the game to make the chickens "derp" and run around, making it hard for the players to hook them.
Any bonuses?
After 10 seconds of each round, other non-hostile mobs will spawn (cow, sheep, pig, etc.) and each mob will count as 2 points (you need at least 15 points to move into the next round). These mobs will spawn less frequently as the chickens do.
What exactly does the firework tool do?
Let's say that a good amount of chickens have spawned near you, but you can't shoot them all. Right clicking the firework in your inventory will trigger an "explosion", causing all the chickens in a 5X5 radius to add to your own points.
Final 2 Players
Once there are only 2 players remaining, they will be teleported and "locked" while hovering over lava. The winner will be who ever can hook the most chickens falling from the sky in 10 seconds. The loser will be dropped in the lava and will burn while the winner basks in the glory.
Totally Original Mini-Game! I thought of it while trolling a friend (I spawned a ton of chickens in her house).
