You can get Windows for free.
You don't need an optical drive, just use a USB to install Windows.
You don't need a sound card because that's only for audiophiles with expensive headphones

Also that case is really bad.
I feel like you should get Windows 8.1
You don't need a sound card

Don't call people dumb. He might be able to ask the owner to do something like that.

    RedzoneCraftThis server kinda fixes it!

    Ip: redzonecraft.net

No, please don't do this. Your suggestions don't even make the slightest bit of sense. I know you're desperate for players, I was too, but I didn't do this, and my server eventually got popular. I hate all of these people, they just look at the big guys and think that it happened in a day.

You have an ad in your signature so add something to the discussion and people might like you and check out your server.

I don't think Mojang should be adding any new features. I just think they should make an API, improve resource packs, and optimize the game more. Just enable the community to add features, and leave the backend stuff to yourself.

Imagine how amazing Minecraft would be if it was multithreaded, if chunks were cubic, and if you could go on a server and it would automatically install the server mods onto the client. Making Minecraft a less laggy, more optimized, versatile, and seamless experience is what I want.

Most of the things that have been mentioned so far can be done by mod makers or have been done.

You can do your own DDoS protection if you run your own Dedicated server with Fedora, and you can set it to block large bandwidth requests from happening. Let's just say that their built in firewall is an admin's dream.

Dedicated servers ARE better, it's just that they will be expensive short term, while hosted servers are cheap short term and expensive long term.

In my honest opinion, you shouldn't be a server owner if you can't set up a working dedicated server that people can connect to.

Yeah, but I'm not saying EVGA is a bad brand, it's just they have so many different editions and some people mistake those for chipsets. Intel and AMD, could argue on that for days. I do agree, AMD is great for budget builds, especially for cheap gaming builds, but opterons and AMD's other core number heavy stuff aren't that great, because it's going up against Intel's fewer cores but better single cores, so that stacks up better against AMD's bad single core performance with more cores.

EVGA Superclocked isn't a version, it's just a marketing term, something to charge you more money for like a 0.01GHz faster clock rate. I wouldn't recommend AMD anymore. Intel has the power of single core processing, and it's multicore processing is great in the i7s.

    Lol, 8 bytes.

Sorry, wouldn't that be 8 bits, since it is a lowercase b? so one byte

Randomness' build is pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend a air cooler when you're going with a third party cooler, I feel like Asus has a better BIOS than ASRock, I haven't heard that much at all about GeIL, but I have heard a lot of good things about G.Skill. Plus, the price is the same as the RAM he got, but it has a better rating. The 500R is a huge upgrade cooling wise compared to the 400R. And if you really really just want to go with Razer, you can replace my peripherals, but I would recommend those. I'm sorry Randomness, but ewwwww acer?

Those are all my comments. Thanks.

CPU: Intel is superior right now in my opinion. i5 is good for gaming, and it isn't a K model so you can't overclock, but it is cheaper.
Motherboard: Motherboard is an Asus and they have an amazing BIOS.
Memory: Good 8GB RAM, two channels, with a fairly good clock rate, 1600MHz, I would have preferred 1866MHz, which is standard for DDR3, but RAM clock rate doesn't matter unless it's substantially different, since it will probably always be a bottleneck for the CPU.
Storage: Hybrid HDD at 7200RPM, standard RPM for an HDD, but it is also a hybrid, so it has some SSD aspects too so it will be faster.
Video card: The GTX 760 is great, and 2GB is enough for the next 1-2 years. Nvidia is generally better than AMD.
Case: Corsair is a great brand.
Power supply: Again, Corsair is a great brand, and it is 80+ Bronze efficient, so it will be better on power usage.

I know you want AMD, but I don't have that much experience because I am an Intel+Nvidia guy.

Didn't include a monitor because I assumed you had one. I don't use optical drives because of Steam and Origin, and I feel like it is a waste of money with how digital games are all popular now. You can get Windows if you already have a license from and want to transfer your license to this computer. And there are ways to get it for free. I would recommend Windows 8.1, because games can run faster because of the DirectX 11.2, and Windows 8.1 will be getting DirectX 12, which will be the equivalent to AMD's Mantle, which is a low level graphics API so game developers can access the graphics card without a lot of bottlenecks.
