there is no such thing as soup and no soup, only more soup or less soup

ketchup is more soup than gravel
water is slightly less soup than seawater
seawater is less soup than soup
    soup is soup

Yeah, theres no point to use diamonds. It's a similar situation to building the base of the beacon. Iron makes sense if you have a farm for it, gold makes sense if you loot bastians a lot or have a zombie piglin farm, and emeralds make sense if you're the kind of person that makes a villager monopoly.

    But diamonds never make sense.

Marshmallows slightly burnt, with a digestive biscuit either side to make a kind of sandwich. Beautiful.

    Are you using any mods?

I get this problem every now and again. For me I'm pretty sure it's that a mod is making it impossible to render terrain, although I'm also using a rubbish computer so that probably contributes.

If your playing on a featured server, the players there are often on a console instead of a pc. Although accurate, these players after aren't the best at turning round quickly, so I just try and attack from any angle apart from straight on. Preferably from behind.

As for bridging, there's this weird sprintjump bridge method which allows you to bridge many times faster than java.

I learnt of this video: https://youtu.be/5hBsKO7kbJI
    Hope this helps

If a modder makes a modpack thats rubbish, the worst thing thats going to happen is that the modpack is not gonna get used. If mojang makes an even slightly unblanaced aspect of the game, they will face months of backlash by hundreds of thousands of players. Modpacks are often targeted at a certain few people that like to play the game a certain way. With official updates everyone is forced to use them. The two jobs arent really comparable. Quicker updates would mean worse updates, and I'd much rather they take they're time and deliver something decent. That being said, no idea what they were thinking with the latest report system.
