I'm for sure getting a PS4, since I'm not forced to pay extra for using netflix (I know you do have to pay extra for multiplayer, but some months, I just stop playing for a few months, and come back when a new game comes out).
The xbox one is kinda cool too, I got to try out the controller when I went to E3 (the controller feels amazing), and also the kinect is pretty swack with how accurate it is.
The reasons I'm not getting the xbon- I MEAN XBOX ONE, is because:
1. Adding DRM in the future
2. The fact that I play in a small room, so the kinect won't be that useful
3. Microshill making me pay extra to use apps like netflix
4. Not being able to even use the TV feature since I don't even have a coax cable outlet in the room I play in (I know it isn't needed, but if I have the feature given to me, I'd want to at least use it).
5. The game titles, none of them interest me
6. It being the size of a VCR
7. The little kids
8. Microsoft changing everything to make everyone happy (they should've made everyone happy in the first place).
The PS4 just suits me better, the only thing I don't like is the share button, I think it is stupid.
Also I hate the fact that for both consoles, they are allowing livestreaming to twitch. Whenever I go on twitch, There is a good amount of streams to look at, and with the right software, streamers can add all sorts of features, like playing music, showing watermarks, removing background from facecam, ETC. With the xbox one and PS4, it's basically just going to show you the game and (maybe) a facecam from your kinect or PS eye. I imagine the sound quality won't be as good, and twitch will be overflown with people streaming from their consoles.
A new awesome feature for both though is recording your gameplay or taking screenshots, I like that.
