Mostly finished the inside of the bank barn
threshing floor, hay mow, storage loft, and granary are upstairs
the cattle pens and feeding area are underneath

hay is dropped through holes in the main floor aptly named "hay holes" down to the cattle pens in the basement or out the doors of the forebay to the cattleyard below

I added a hog house and moved the smokehouse and butcher house to the rear of the yard to be in line with this new building.

I also worked on a few domestic items
    -entryway trellis
    -kitchen garden
    -swing and monkeybars
    -grape arbor

Similar, it's Pennsylvania Dutch which includes the Amish, Mennonites, etc. But contrary to popular belief not all PA Dutch farmers are Amish. The colorful "Hex" designs on the barn wouldn't be found on most Amish barns (too fancy for their taste) This build is set in the mid to late 1800's or early 1900's so not much modern tech (which makes it look Amish as well).

Is this like an Amish community?

I'm using the conquest reforged mod. It's usually used for medieval/fantasy but I'm trying somewhat different.

Pump house (water source), Summer Kitchen (separate building where most cooking was done during hot weather and to reduce the risk of fire) and Root Cellar (under the Summer Kitchen where potatoes and other produce was stored)

Believe it or not it's conquest reforged. Most people use it for medieval/fantasy, but I'm trying 19th/early 20th century.

Haha that's pretty much exactly what happened. The gulls are part of the conquest reforged mod. I use them a lot actually since my build is along the coast. You can find then around the fishing boats and picking through the garbage, you know typical seagull stuff.

My son requested I build a warship. So I obliged.

I kinda crossed a medieval cog with a longship but I think it works.

You might think I was in a grisly mood after these recent additions but not really. I just love adding flies and vermin to everything!

Added a refuse pile outside the main gate of the town. Rife with flies, rats, and rats with wings (pigeons, gulls). A revamp of the gallows platform with a few grisly additions. And on a brighter note I re-textured the orchard and converted the hedges from oak leaves to gorse (as they should be), and fixed the mowed hayfield by adding fodder piles to the ground instead of ugly green wool.

    New download soon.

It's finally up. After a lot of work, replacing blocks, and adding details, my medieval castle and town has been "reforged"! Please check it out and feel free to explore, there is so much to see. Now that I've pretty much switched all the blocks and textures over to conquest reforged I can continue working on interiors and the surrounding countryside. Still a lot to do but I thought I'd share what I've got so far.

    Enjoy!
Remember you need the Conquest Reforged Mod to view this map.

Working on upgrading my Medieval Castle and Town project to the Conquest Reforged mod. Losing a few features in doing so but gaining soooo much more. So many textures need reworked and there's a lot of work to do yet. Hope to have a download soon. Until then enjoy these screenshots.

I just placed them normally, maybe your having a connected textures issue in optifine? Send a pic so I can see what you mean.

How do you do that with the curtains? When I place curtains, you can see the tiling because of the gold pattern but you make them look like actual curtains.
