My server is 1 of thousands of lovely servers out there. I started my server 2 years ago. I would post on PMC and people would flood onto me server and run into the woods and gather supplies. They would read the rules and help each other.
Yesterday I bumped my server submission and 20 new players arrived within the hour. Of these 20, 1 screamed obscenities and logged off. 3 asked for admin or op(one shouted rude things about my mother when I refused), 3 ran past the rules and grieved houses, 4 x-rayed, 2 used other hacks, 4 left, and 3 actually remained and were good.
So my question is where are all the good players? Have they stopped playing? or did they get bored doing things legit?
Many of my own players who run servers talk about the times they have been nuked or how hackers have tried to destroy their servers. Some of my favorite servers have gotten fed up with the increasing number of complaints they get from players or the lack of trustworthy players
I hesitate to even update my server since the people who flood on are not what they used to be. Is it just me imagining this? or have others noticed
This is just a flame post, your just hating. I agree many people play like this but there are many reasons.
Minecraft is a game Open too all players of all age groups for people to enjoy to play so if you don't want small kids on your server put so in the description(Most of their parents will see and probably say its not a suitable server) etc. and you can ban and mute them. A game such as this is a brilliant opportunity for trolls, lots of kids with squeaky voices spending hours building something that can be destroyed in minutes... Either have a private server, Find trolls as soon as they appear, get friends (Preferably IRL freinds) to admin the server for you or just simply get good grief protection from one of the many many plugins... Instead of whining on here solve your problem or help others solve their problems by making the thread constructive don't just whine like a little child. This isn't helping the problem at all maybe you could have made this thread and put in a solution... but no.
Refrain yourself from being a little girl bitch and play the game, if you have no real life friends to play with find a trustworthy group of players... You don't need lots of random people to enjoy the game just a few dedicated players. The reason trolls joined your server was probably because you advertised it in that way instead of asking for dedicated players. And that's my Daily post finished good bye.
