Yeah, I do remember that the drivers I had on previous computers all had OpenGL. And those were Windows XP and earlier. I have Windows 8.1 installed on a Windows Vista processor, I first thought that was the reason why I was having problems. I'll try uninstalling these drivers and reinstalling them and try starting up Minecraft. If this works, you will have saved me, friend.

I looked at the Minimum Requirements from Mojang's Help Support on their site, and the drivers listed there all had "OpenGL 2.1-3.1" on them. I looked at my system properties, and saw my drivers don't have that.

I suppose I wasn't very specific. My apologies. When trying to update my drivers, it tells me they are already up to date. Yet, when I go to play Minecraft, it tells me they are in need of an update.
