    In-Game Username: Constance
    Age: 15 (approaching 16 soon)
Position I am applying for: I'm not too picky. I'd love to help in any way I can.
What I'm good at: Starting this year, I expanded into web development. I am learning how to create diverse, appealing websites and beyond. As for the game itself, I primarily excel in administration and design. Graphic design is a gargantuan passion of mine, as is server administration through the installation, configuration, and optimization of plugins.
Previous experience: From version 1.2.5 to 1.6.4 I worked with the prestigious Broken Buttons Build Team ran by BlameTC. As time went on, I was able to help on the once-popular BTC Fan Server, giving me the opportunity to keep the server smooth and efficient while also providing an optimal experience for all of the players. Then forward, I assisted several hosting companies which provided experience with the backend of servers and the overall administration of such. The companies included Elementium Hosting, Zepto Hosting, Wizit Hosting, and Extronium Hosting.
A way that I can contact you (Skype ect.): If you're looking to work with me feel free to send me a private message. I can give you contact details there. Thanks for the opportunity to apply.

    4) Will you be dedicated? Absolutely! I am very passionate for Minecraft and all it contains. During the week, I am capable of dedicating 2-4 hours in the evening. On the weekends, I am able to dedicate 4-12 hours each day.

    Co-Owner Application

    IGN? Constance

    Skype? CosmologicalConstance

    Age? 15

Why do you want to help this server? I am very passionate regarding RPG-style servers, and I'm always anxious to help new servers in their path to success. Ultimately, this experience would help me collaborate with Minecraft players around the world, and hopefully help you create a great server experience for players.
Can I trust you? I believe so, yes.

Maturity scale 1-10? There are obviously times when you should and should not be serious, so based on outside opinion, I'd rate myself 9.5.

If I need help, Can I trust you with FTP file access and the console? Yes. I have prior experience with hosting companies such as Elementium Hosting, Eas-E Hoster, and Wizit Hosting. With that knowledge, I am confident that I am trustworthy regarding FTP File Access/Console.

Can you manage staff without me? Absolutely. With various leadership seminars I have attended at my current academy, I have acquired the necessary skill to control interaction between peers.

Can I trust you to accept staff apps that are good? Without a doubt! Since version 1.2.5, I have been actively involved in server management.

Will you not accept staff apps only because they are your friend? Many people tell me I have close to no emotion. That said, I am able to decipher the quality of the application, regardless of who submitted it.

Can you code? I am satisfactory in HTML/CSS, but I have no experience with plugins, etc.

If so, Prior work? I do not have any public websites as of right now.

Can you help build? Terraform? Yes, I was previously part of the prestigious Broken Buttons Build Team. From that, I have gained substantial talent in building/terraforming.

Can you configure plugins? Indeed! As I previously stated, I was part of several hosting companies. I had to learn how to assist server owners with their plugin issues, which included configuration. I also have a proficient understanding of permission mechanics and how to work with Group Manager effectively.

How much time do you think you can participate everyday? Typically, I can commit 2-3 hours per night Monday thru Friday, and 4-8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Prior experience? As stated earlier, I have been part of server management positions since 1.2.5. From BlameTC's Fan Server to BladeCraft, I have been part of many server management teams.

Are you fluent with plugins? If you mean fluent in plugin usage, I am beyond proficient. I have used most common plugins substantially, gaining exponential knowledge along the way.

Location/Timezone? Chicago; UTC - 6 or Central Standard

Are you atleast co-owner on 1 server? I have been, yes. However, due to the fact that I want to commit myself to one server at a time, I am currently not co-owning any public servers.

Have you ever been banned? Be truthful, We'll know. Yes. I have previously been banned from a server for circumventing their AFK kicking system.
Nevertheless, I have never used hacked clients/mods, nor have I expressed inappropriate chat messages.

    Hey there, shadodart1.

Believe me, you aren't even close to the only server owner with this problem. But, the people you've talked to are right. You should scale down. If you start huge with a small player base, you're headed to failure. If you lower what options you have, you can attract more people that way. Also, instead of having super common choices, try coming up with unique games that people have not seen before. For example, Hypixel continually comes out with awesome games that other servers haven't used before. This helps increase their popularity. You could be doing the same thing, because if you use what you have now, you'll be competing with thousands of other servers with those same games, and unless you've got thousands of dollars to advertise, you're just never going to stand out.

I hope this helps, but if you want more advice, feel free to private message me.

    Happy crafting,
    Blue

    Hey there, AeePlus3.

Assuming that you're going to go to a hosting company for your server, be sure to analyze very carefully the pros and cons of each. There are a few really nice companies that provide high quality servers for $1.50/GB. That being said, anything over $6/GB is a bit much, unless it comes with some amazing perks along with your server.
Along the lines of hosting, be sure you have budgeted correctly, because if you do not think you'll have enough to last a year, you're not going to end up getting anywhere, and then your money will have been wasted. A good start for hosting would be around 4GB of RAM, if you're going to have a standard three worlds, a few plugins, and other things.
Once you have your server set, begin brainstorming exactly what your server to be like. What will players be able to do? How many players are you looking for? And things like that. Have a detailed plan that outlines precisely what you are going to make happen with your server. When brainstorming, actually brainstorm. If you sit there and are thinking, "Well. Let me make a faction server cause it's easy and fast!" That is the wrong way to go. Try to come up with unique ideas instead of remaking something that is already very common.
Once you have your plan set up, try to involve a small group of people who want to help make your idea become reality. Be careful not to bring your friends from real life into it, because that can become a huge problem if any abuse takes place or you end up arguing.

That should be a pretty good start for you there. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a private message.

    Happy crafting,
    Blue

    IateBarrys
    Application
    Minecraft Username: IateBarrys :p

Do you have a Skype account?: Already have Brock added

Do you have a Google account?: Of Course

Have you ever participated in a Minecraft server? If so, what type of participation occurred?: I did, I was a Moderator for about 2 months, then was promoted to admin for about 3 months, then gained the position Head - Admin for about 6 months before the server was no longer active.

What type of "rank" or position are you looking to have at Atlas?: Whatever you have open, as Brock knows, I'm pretty good all around

How long have you been playing Minecraft?: Been playing Minecraft for about 2-3 years.

What timezone are you in? Central

Atlas is an organization that values community and being part of the team. Describe a time that you worked to help another individual feel "part of the group.":

What would a friend or family member say about your computer/electronic device usage, and your efficiency on a computer/electronic device?: Its okay. If your asking how much im on my laptop, it'd be around 5-7 hours a day.

Atlas wants to make all users feel welcome. Do you think digital citizenship is important? Why or why not?: Yes, because if someone joins, they want to be welcomed, and greeted, they don't want to come to a server and feel like they are just another player.

Atlas will include users from a variety of age groups. Is it important to treat everyone equally or different? Why or why not?: Treat everyone the same, if not you will gain a bad rep. You want to be someone they like to see whether your an admin, or moderator, or just a VIP, you want to be someone the players like, and respect.

Method of contact: Either Skype, Email, or Phone. I will direct message my contact info.

    To whom it may concern,
Thank you for applying. We'd love to have you become part of the Atlas team. We'll be in contact soon!

I do own this, as I said. It specifically says what type of server I'm using, hence:
    IBM x3950 X6 System.

And I did mean laptop, not desktop, sorry. It's an Alienware 18 that the processor is being ran on.

Depending on what you're referring to, my server is currently running an Intel Xeon E7-4870 v2, but I plan on upgrading to an Intel Xeon E7-8890 v2. In case you're wondering what this is being ran on it's an IBM x3950 X6 System.

On my normal desktop I'm running on an Intel i7-4940MX processor.

Hey there, Goku. The shape has some potential! However, it is very randomized, giving it a very busy and uncoordinated look. I'd recommend you experiment with different build palettes to make the blocks contrast better, helping the build flow. If you have any questions, or you want to build with me some time, feel free to private message me. Best of luck!
