Experience: I've got a lot of experience under my belt for minecraft. I've owned my own servers in the past for projects or just to see what I could muster up in the summer for donations, so they're no longer running, but those random bouts of creating servers have left me with a lot of experience! I know the usual commands, and I'm assuming you've got essentials, so that's good. I'm usually a builder, building for fun and then leaving, but I've got a bit more free-time on my hands and I'd love to help create an awesome server environment! Anyway, back to the real question at hand: Experience. Due to my building past (present, really) I've gotten to know world edit like a bestie, so my knowledge in that is a lot, but I'm not a fan of the over use of world edit, because it just looks... unprofessional. I use it mostly to fix terrain or copy and pasting, etc. I've also helped with other servers, normally taking the place of Admin or Co-Owner. I try my best to stay away from a Moderator position, not because it isn't important, but because what I do requires a few more commands and a bit more flexibility. Jeez, it's hard to stay on topic for this question... anyway-
What can you do: I can build, as stated above, and I make videos, draw art, forms of advertisement, manage the server, make sure the rules are being respected as well as players, I'm fairly evenly rounded. Except I can't PvP. I love it, but I'm horrible at it. As for the art and videos, I've got my own programs I use for editing advertisement videos, and I love drawing so I've learned how to use Photoshop. I've got a tablet too, so I make some decent art-- but I'm not applying for just the art, this is a package deal here.
Why you want to be staff: Honestly, staff is a blast. I'd love to fill your ears with things like "I want make the world a better place, let's do this together!" but I'm applying mostly because staff is a really cool, fun, and honorable job! Albeit, I do enjoy helping people and making a fun server environment, and helping people is fulfilling, but it is also really fun.
In all reality, though, I'd love to get some good builds down, a good amount players, and make this server a real success
