So do you remember how Microsoft helped migrate most of the Minecraft accounts?
The problem you’re having is related to the store, and also might be because you’re not signed in. Most likely, Minecraft now uses the Microsoft store to authenticate you.
Try logging in using the Microsoft store, and if I’m not wrong, you’d now have to launch the game (MC Java Edition) using the Microsoft store. Give it a try and let me know if that works.
