What position are you applying for?: Moderator
Why we should pick you: I think I should be chosen because of my maturity, experience, and problem solving skills. I'm usually more laid back guy; I like to joke around, laugh, and make friends - but I can be very serious when needed. I want to help make sure everyone is enjoying themselves and having a good time (it's a game, after all!), that's why we have rules. I'll help enforce the rules so everyone is happy.
Experience: I've been playing Minecraft since only a month after it was released. Over the years, I've been given positions as staff many times, and those experiences have taught me a lot. I've become very familiar with most popular plugins (like Essentials, Core Protect, World Guard etc.) and I'm a decent builder. But most of all, I'm great at solving disputes, and can reason with rule breakers, so we can keep the more severe punishments as a last resort.
What can you do to help the server?: I can make new players feel welcome and at home, keep rules being fallowed, and in any other way I can!
How much time would you devote to the server?: At very least an hour each day, but I'm usually on for about 4 hours to 5.

What would you do in these situations:
A.Someone was hacking
Hacking as in using a hacked client; I'd probably give a firm reminder that they're not allowed and to get rid of it - if they don't, probably a temp-ban for an hour or so. Then a ban.
But trying to hack into console or give themselves permissions would be an immediate IP ban, and I'd tell an admin or owner immediately.
B.Someone was griefing
Depending on how severe it is, with an apology and promise not to do it again, I'd probably give a pretty short temp-ban. Otherwise, a much longer temp-ban. Second offense is a ban.
C.Two players were having a fight in chat. (about someone killing there horse)
I'd first ask the person if they really did kill the horse. If so, I'd ask them why, and not to do so again. If they continued to argue, I'd temporarily mute them, or have them /ignore each other.
