It's ~$80 cheaper but you can go lower by chosing a different case.
I also took the price of a reference RX480 but if I was OP I'd obviously wait for the aftermarket versions which might end up with different prices. (RX480 because of the huge Vulkan/DX12 improvements compared to recent NVidia cards).

To me personally it sounds pretty boring because it sounds like generic prog house.
That's just my personal opinion though (I know there are people who absolutely love that genre).

It's really easy. With a good case it's mostly plugging in the components. Just watch one or two tutorials by different persons first and/or ask for advice on /r/buildapc or /r/pcmasterrace

If I was him I'd build a custom PC.

If you can convince him to do so then also tell him to wait until AMDs new RX 480 is released. It's a really good card for only $200. Good because it's said to have low power consumption while still delivering GTX 980 performance (a card that costs at least twice as much).

Almost everything else will also cost less if you get a good part list with carefully chosen parts

I can't imagine an i7 OCed to 4.5Ghz being that much of a bottleneck.

Depending on your render distance you might have to lower it (15 seems to be a good spot imo)
And can you tell us what shaderpacks you're using?

I don't talk about the game itself with anyone because there's nothing exciting to tell.
But I do mention that I make money via MC which always leaves people amazed since they thought it was just a simple game.

Then what bugs me the most is the noisy selfshadowing and the clipping of his right leg with the body.

Hardcore's, In my opinion, are the 'Elitist' acting group of Gamers. They typically have a specific game they have dedicated their free time(and even some not so free time) to playing, as much as humanly possible. The games played by Hardcore's typically I would say require some trained reflexes, Games like CoD, Last Of Us, Metal Gear Series, Metroid, LoZ. etc. Anything that causes you to actually 'develop' a unique skill to improve in the game.


You're forgot to add all the MMORPGs that some people play for 8 hours a day or more each day of the week
The hardcode gamer thing is mostly about the time you invest into active gaming in general. And it actually doesn't matter what game it is.
And aren't CoD and TLoU actually pretty casual?

True Gamer's, Which I attribute myself to be, is sort of the middle child. Not as arrogant as the Hardcore's, but not as laid back as the typical 'Gamer'. The issue is Gamer has become such a common term that it really means nothing, thus the expanding range of titles we have developed.


The term "True Gamer" excludes all other sub-forms of gamers and is actually the elitism you were referring to when you mentioned the hardcore gamers.
And wrong, "gamers" still has a meaning. A really simple one. Someone who plays at least one game in a sort of dedicated way (not just e.g. a one time Candy Crush session).

In My opinion, Minecrafter is a term similar to Human Being. It's its own society, and that is the name we call our denizens.

What? Human being has a much broader meaning that minecrafter. Sure a minecrafter does quite a few things a human being does but they're not exclusive to the minecrafter but exclusive to the human being.

In my opinion a minecrafter is someone who regularly plays mostly but not exclusively Minecraft.

imgur only for embedded images. But if I want to send someone an image then I use Mediafire cause imgur has horrible compression.
